Chancel Choir
This is a multi-generational SATB choir that meets on Wednesday nights at 7:30 p.m. We prepare
anthems for the 11:00 a.m. Sunday service which correlate to the scripture or the season. We
present a cantata at Christmas and special programs at Easter. We also collaborate with Chester
UMC to present special programs throughout the year. We make a joyful noise whenever we are
together.
Bass Clefs
Men of all ages are welcome to participate in this group that rehearses every Wednesday from
7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. from January to June. We sing everything from Gospel to Classical.
Handbell Choir-Trinity Bells
The love and enthusiasm for handbells in America sprang from the hands of Margaret Shurcliff
of Boston, Massachusetts. In 1902, she became the first American woman to ring a complete
peal on tower bells in England. Our group has existed for 30 years with some of the original
members still ringing. We meet every Monday night at 7:00 p.m. We learn music to perform for
church services and special events and have a lot of fun doing it!
