Adult Fellowship and Service Groups

Trinity offers several opportunities for women and men to join in Christian fellowship and
service to our community.

United Women of Faith
The UWF meets monthly to learn, serve, and fellowship together. We learn about and participate in a variety of local, national, and global ministries that support women, children, and youth. The UWF is one of Trinity’s biggest supporters of community service programs. Meeting the second Thursday of the month at 1:00 p.m., September through June, women of all ages are welcome.

United Methodist Men
The UMM meets the 1st Saturday of each month at 8:30 am for breakfast. The UMM engages in local mission work such as volunteering at A Place of Miracles Café, performing grounds work at Soar 365’s Camp Baker, and building handicap ramps with Project Homes. They prepare breakfast following the Easter Sunrise Service and for the children’s annual Santa Breakfast. Each October, the community enjoys the United Methodist Men’s Brunswick Stew, their only fundraiser that supports the missions and ministry of the UMM. If you are looking for a place to fellowship and serve, consider joining us the United Methodist Men.

Young Adult Group
The Young Adult Group, aka “YAG,” gathers each month on the third Wednesday at 7:00 pm to share a meal, share their stories, and collaborate on a church or community-focused service activity. A point of emphasis for YAG is the building of multi-generational relationships. YAG is available for adults under 30.

Prayer Shawl Group
Do you enjoy crocheting? Can you knit or tie fleece? Join us as we lovingly create blankets for those who are ill, depressed, grieving, and in need of comfort. The Prayer Shawl group creates blankets so that others may wrap themselves in comfort and prayer. Every creation is prayed over while it is being made and the person to whom it will be gifted is lifted up in prayer, as well.

Adult Education and Small Groups
Trinity currently has two small groups that meet each week on Sunday mornings from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Both groups read and discuss scripture and discern its application to life. They discuss a variety of topics. You are welcome to grow in your knowledge of the Bible and share your thoughts and ideas! Seasonal studies and discussion groups are offered from time to time. Recent topics include racism, forgiveness, and making sense of the Bible.

STRETCH!
STRETCH! Is a light resistance stretching and exercise group for older adults. Facilitated by a retired registered nurse and credentialed exercise instructor, the group meets each Wednesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Trinity. You are welcome to join in this fun activity.

AA Support Group

Life presents many challenges, but no one has to do it alone. Join us every Thursday at 7:30. Find comfort and understanding to keep you on track with your journey to recovery.
