If we have a project that goes late in the day on Friday, and that group wants to stay Friday night and come home Saturday morning, that can be arranged. Several of our team members suggested going back there, so after exploring other options, I realized that Goldsboro might be the best bargain around. I asked the lady in charge if our men would be doing to the other half of the roof they did last summer, and she said no, they had managed to get it done and get the plumbing installed! She was quite happy to hear that we wanted to come back.
As I said, I explored other options, and the only one that had any possibility was a return trip to the Eastern Shore Habitat for Humanity and Camp Occohannock, but the cost was going to be $240 - $320 per person (depending on whether or not we took the meal package), plus money for building supplies. I thought that was a little too extravagant. I hope you will plan to go this summer (our 21st year) and encourage some new friends to join us. Karen Previous Page
