Youth Fellowship

The purpose of youth ministry (6th-12th grades) is to help encourage youth to become mature Christian adults, who choose a daily relationship with God.  We seek to teach them to communicate and live out their faith in God.

On Sunday evenings, the Youth Fellowship (grades 6-12) meet at 5:00 pm in the Sunday school room at the end of the education wing on the right side.  We enjoy programs, activities, and retreats that develop our faith and our spirit.

Our youth leaders are Turner Wilkes, and Anthony Lively.  If you will be new to the group and would like information, please contact the main office at Phone: 804-748-2439

Please bring a friend and come join the fun and fellowship

Youth Mission

Every summer our Youth group participates in a mission trip.  Our goal is to oversee the outreach ministries of the church, locally, nationally, and world-wide, which have the aim of reaching out with God's love by alleviating suffering, promoting the quality of life among all God's children, and telling others about God.  The Missions Committee helps members to look beyond the church building to local and global communities in need.  Through our mission programs, we feed the hungry, comfort the sick, visit the lonely, and reach out and help victims of poverty and disaster.  Whether feeding the poor, repairing houses, or providing financial support to Methodist missionaries abroad, believers who participate in missions are putting their faith into action, thereby answering the call of Christ to follow Him.
