Music News

Thanks to Odyssey for leading our service on June the 6th with “Godspell”.  We appreciate your talent and hard work.  We will miss all of our seniors next year, but look forward to our new students who age up into the group next fall.  Best wishes to all our seniors as they head to college!

The Trinity Belles made our trip to annual conference to play for the Memorial Service on Sunday June 13th.  It was an interesting experience and I believe that we were good representatives of Trinity.  I would like to thank all of our ringers for taking this trip with me.  I would especially like to thank Kari Collins, Jean Hamilton, and Diane Emerson for substituting for those who could not go.  We are very grateful to our senior, Brittany Napolitano, who has been a dedicated ringer with this group for a number of years.  We are going to miss you Brittany and hope that one day we can see you ring bells at Bridgewater!

Our Chancel Choir continues to rehearse during the summer at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday evenings.  Singing is good for the body and the soul so please join us as we make a joyful noise to the Lord each Wednesday evening.  The only Wednesday we will not meet is during VBS week.  Come and sing!!

For those of you who are thinking already about the talent show next year, our theme will have an international flair.  So if you are visiting another country this summer, listen to the local musicians and find some authentic music from that country!

To those of you who are traveling this summer and happen to attend a church service, save the bulletin and bring it to me.  I am always looking for new music and new ideas and this is a great way to learn about worship in other places.  If you can’t find me, just slide the bulletin under my office door.  Have a great summer!

Blessings, Pat
